 What is the Pulse Smartpen?

In a nutshell, the Pulse Smartpen is a computer in a pen that  captures everything a person hears and writes and  then amazingly synchronizes  the notes and audio together.  Simply tapping  the pen anywhere on the handwritten notes or drawings   enables you to  hear the conversation play back from that exact moment in time.

It is a talking notebook!!!   All  notes and  audio can   be transferred to personal  computer for backup, search, playback or sharing.

How does it work? How does the notebook talk?

The smartpen comes with a special  notebook and the two work seamlessly together so that you can take the best notes ever.  The simplest explanation of this mind boggling amazing technology is as follows:

•  First the  userfriendly  pen  has a built in infra camera and microphone.
• Second the notebook is printed with  special microdots that are recognized by the pen as well as iconic recording control  functions printed on the bottom of every page such as record, pause, stop etc
• Third  when you write or draw on the page the  pen stores  anything that you have written together with any audio content that you recorded while writing on the page.

The result?

Like I said a talking notebook!!!  Just tapping your notes , drawings , diagrams, anything that you have written, scribbled or doodled  will play back the corresponding audio that was recorded while you were doodling, excuse me, I meant  notetaking .

Wait there is more!

When you dock the pen in the USB cradle all your hand written notes and audio recordings are transfered to the computer and can be viewed, listened to, exported as a PDF, searched and shared online. You can delelte from your pen at any point in time because everything is saved on the computer.
